It amazes me you don't have more reviews on this series. I read it when it was first being written, and find myself enjoying it a second time around.
The story of Jenny, on her own, learning what there is to know about life, the universe, and everything, is so poignant... so nostalgic. It gives the impression of a fierce joy and horrible tragedy all at the same time: It makes me want to both be her and cry for her.
Thank you for putting up such great stories.
Author's Response: Wow. Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. It\'s been slow going lately for me, in the Jenny department, and I\'m glad it still holds a draw even for a reread.
I wish I could think of a better way to respond to your wonderful comments other than by repeating thank you a bunch of times, but I\'m not sure I have the words (other than thank you, obviously).
So... thank you. This comment means a lot, and I appreciate it so so much.
Just wanted to write and say how much I enjoyed these stories. I hope more are coming! I love the way you write Jenny and am enjoying her development as an individual.
Author's Response: More are definitely coming! I\'m glad you enjoy the series. I\'m not nearly done writing Jenny yet; I\'ve got a lot more stories that I want to tell. Thank you so much!
Hi! I'm here from the Children of Time Awards - congrats on your nomination. This was an absolutely incredible series, and I gobbled it up like candy. I'm so sorry that there isn't more after Reinette's letter - I find myself wanting to know if Jenny does ever meet her father again, even if it does mean the pain of knowing Donna is gone. I love that you pulled River into it - that Jenny has a little bit of a touchstone in her - and I loved your depictions of first love and first fear.
I'm writing reviews of all the nominees on my LJ, and I'm including this in the next post (to appear this evening later). I cannot wait to share this one.
This absolutely deserved its nomination, and I wish you the best of luck. Thank you so much for sharing it!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much. My friend linked me to what you said on LJ and... I can\'t even tell you how much it made my day that you enjoy my series that much. I promise I have every intention to continue it, it\'s just been a bit slow going. But please keep an eye out, because I\'m definitely not done telling Jenny stories yet. Thank you again.
