This is one of the best series that I have ever read. I LOVE that both Doctors were able to stay with their Rose!
You did such a great job with everybody's conflicting emotions on who Rose should be with and why. I always felt that even though Rose could love the human Doctor that her heart would still ache for the Time Lord. Of course, she could have been hurt and angry enough to let him go completely. "Does it really need saying?" Yes, yes it does. You wrote everyone's reactions to the situation so beautifully.
And you saved Donna and all! Finally, the Doctor can have the family he doesn't think he deserves.
The fifteen hour regeneration arm chopping idea was BRILLIANT! Nice nod to Doctor Who history and such a clever catalyst to further the story at the same time.
You really nailed Jackie's reaction to newly born Rose. Clone or not, she's still Rose and Jackie has always loved her too much to give her anything less. It was so great that Pete gave the Doctor advice on how to handle everything. I always forget that both he and Jackie would know exactly how they feel and would be able to give them support not just out of love, but actual experience. Nice nod there too.
I wish that Rose could have had a lifespan to match the Doctor's own, via Bad Wolf, but then her clone would have outlived the human Doctor.
Is there any chance that you'll write just one more where either something allows that to happen? Or perhaps their children from each universe find out how the others fared and that Rose and the Doctor were able to be together until the very end for them both? (sorry if that sounds morbid) PLEASE? (kneeling and groveling here)
This was a fantastic series and I wish it had been canon. Each story was everything a lot of us would have loved to see and such a pleasure to read. Thank you for sharing it with us. :)
