Summary: The Meta-Crisis Doctor is a man without a world or a universe. Created in space during a war, he is abandoned by the man responsible for his creation, and despised by the woman he loves. He is condemned to travel the slow path amongst humans, instead of the stars. The life both he and the Doctor envisioned turns very wrong and he is left to build a home whilst waiting for his TARDIS to take him back to the stars, Slowly, he succeeds but who will be there to hold his hand when the slow path takes a twist no one could foresee?
