Owen falls through the Rift, vanishing from Cardiff while Jack is gone, while at the same time, a set of strange metallic rings show up at the Hub. Jack's worried about the where and when Owen may have ended up, and Ianto is intrigued by what Jack says about the collar and cuffs. The Doctor gets involved, and runs into someone who he hasn't seen in a very long time.
